Working together with young people in care to reach their full potential and make lifelong changes to their world, by giving young people the opportunities and tools to empower themselves to, “break the cycle” and make positive choices.
About Excel
Excel currently operate four residential care facilities within Staffordshire and North Wales. .
We offer a 28 day crisis intervention placement service for young people aged 8-17 years with the further option of longer term supported accommodation. Current placements have extended beyond this due to young persons being settled in placement.
We have met all Staffordshire County Council QA requirements.
Home tutoring for maths and english to GCSE standard is available if required.
Alternative educational programmes and activities are available.
All our residential facilities operate within the childrens homes quality standards 2015 guidelines.
We undertake Regulation 44 visits on a monthly basis to ensure we continue to operate within Quality Standards.
We are also Cyber Essentials Certified. Our certificate can be viewed by clicking here.
Our Values
Safeguarding All - Excel’s Primary task is to ensure safeguarding is at the
fundamental core of all we do.
Trust and Transparency - At Excel Crisis intervention we understand the
importance of developing and maintaining strong relationships both with the young
people we work with and as a staff team. This can only be achieved with honest and
transparent practice where each relationship is based upon trust.

relationships. Communication must be clear, solution focused and delivered in a
respectful manner.

do with young people, where they can gain ownership through working
independently and having self-belief in what they do.
